Well I am currently taking three courses with UBC.
The first is Information Services, which means what is available in the Reference area of the library.
Second is regarding Resource-Based teaching. The pendulum in education is on the move again. Teachers are moving away from the teacher-directed learning to a student-centered approach based on the collaborative efforts of teachers, teacher-librarians and students to plan and administer curriculum using the resources of the school library resource center.
My third class is a special topic class with its focus on Web 2.0 and its applications in the school library resource center.
Over the course of the next three months I will be using this blog to express my learning and help me reflect on where I need to go. I hope you enjoy my posts.
